MFA Foundation Supports New Governor Michael L. Parson Arena
The Missouri State Fair Foundation recently received a gift from the MFA Foundation in support of the new Governor Michael L. Parson Arena, a state-of-the-art indoor facility now under construction on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
The donation is a $120,000 commitment from the MFA Foundation family, which includes contributions from the MFA Foundation, MFA Incorporated Charitable Foundation and MFA Oil Charitable Foundation. This investment will help fund the naming of 12 seating sections in the arena highlighting the organizations' long-standing support of Missouri agriculture and youth development.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the arena was held August 15, 2024, with Governor Mike Parson, First Lady Teresa Parson, and several state and local leaders in attendance. The arena, which will span 150,000 square feet and be climate-controlled, is expected to host a wide range of events year-round and during the annual Missouri State Fair. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2026.
“This new arena is a significant investment in the future of the Missouri State Fairgrounds,” said Missouri State Fair Commission Chairman Kevin Roberts. “We appreciate Governor Parson’s dedication to the Missouri State Fair and the advancement of Missouri’s agriculture industry.”
